Week 3

I got another bath this morning. I love that warm water when Mommy runs it over me. I just look up at her and coo. I only got upset for a minute because I was so cold but Mommy fixed that quickly.

I no longer have a smelly belly button. My cord fell off in the night and we are all so thankful because it was smelly!

Yesterday we visited my doctor for my three week checkup and received a good report. I'm past my brith weight now. Nine pounds 7 ounces and I've already grown an inch so I'm now up to 22 inches. They told us I was in the 80th percentile for my height and the 55th for my weight. It looks like I'm going to take after my GiGi's side of the family with a really tall and skinny frame.

Mommy thinks I'm looking more and more like my Daddy every day. I certainly take after him in my demeanor because I just go with the flow and stay relaxed for the most part.

More friends come to visit.

I can sleep through almost anything these days.

I just stared at Mrs. Larissa and went to town on my pacifier. Mommy says I remind her of Maggie Simpson because of the noises I make with my pacy. I was worn out after talking with Mrs. Larissa but I still got in a good picture with Lily.
I can't wait to be able to play with Lily.

I had so much fun getting my picture taken. I just looked and looked at the camera trying to figure out what was making the clicking noise. I didn't mind having to change clothes for more pictures and GiGi and Mommy just laughed at me the whole time.
Everyone keeps telling me that I have long fingers. Uncle Kevin hopes they will throw and catch a football well.

This is how we greeted GiGi at the airport.
What a sweet boy! Every once in a while my GiGi would have to calm me down because I would be so tired. She just rocked, bounced, patted, kissed, and talked to me all at the same time. Only GiGi's have the magic touch!

Yesterday we went to see my doctor and I'm gaining weight at an ounce a day. Mommy is having trouble keeping up with my eating schedule but we're making it alright. I'm sleeping well, or at least I'm sleeping appropriately for my age. We get up about every 2.5 hours but it's worth it because I'm hungry. Mommy and Daddy have figured out that I love to be rubbed. They can rub my head and I'll get so relaxed that I think I have to have another nap. Daddy's voice is enough to calm me usually-especially if I get my feelings hurt.

GiGi is here for the week!

Mommy and GiGi kept me so busy.

We were in and out of so many stores but Mommy needed some new clothes. It was still fun to be outside and spending time with my GiGi.

I have great friends!

My girlfriend, Lily, and her awesome mommy and daddy-- Jake and Larissa. Lily learned to stick out her tongue from her daddy. She is going to teach me soon.
Mrs. VanCleave came by to visit me and brought mommy and daddy yummie food!
Ms. Michele is a natural! She is very special to me, mommy, and daddy. She brought us all sorts of goodies!

Mrs. Jessica came by to see me in the hospital. Mrs. Ashley came by to see me at the hospital too!

Mrs. Julie and daddy are great friends from Auburn. She used to live in my house!
