Happy Birthday Baby Michael!

Thank you Ms. Colleen for inviting us to share in Michael's birthday! We had the best time and can't wait to come back to play with all of those new fun toys.

We had so much fun at Michael's birthday party. Graham was so busy pushing toys around that he missed some of the cake eating.

Sweet Michael is one year old and not too excited about his cute hat.
Michael could be the best 1st birthday cake eater we've ever seen. At one point he turned the cake up and ate it. No hands necessary.
Now if this isn't the cutest thing?... Michael got his very own 4-wheeler. He loved it and Graham loved pushing him around on it.

Graham would have done this all night long had he not been so tired. He was getting made pretty quickly when they would run into sometime.
Graham is telling us to get out of their way.

Uncle Mitey has his hands full.
We tried to get them together but Graham was ready to get moving.

Graham and Michael were not about to leave this pile of candy.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday Mitey!
Sweet Michael has been getting so excited about his best friend, Chris, coming to town for weeks now. What he didn't know is that I've been planning a surprise trip for him for months. While Michael was at work on Thursday I drove little Grahamy to Birmingham to meet GiGi and Uncle Kevin. I picked Michael up from work and we headed to the airport to pick up Chris-or so he thought.
Michael put on a smile but i could tell he was disappointed Chris was coming to Nashville. I wouldn't let him see his boarding pass or the check in counter because I wanted him to figure out where he was going. You can see his earphones were in as well. My plan was working just perfect until we boarded the plane and our seat mate sat down. I told him what was going on but he still wanted to wish Michael a Happy War Eagle. That's when the conversation began and the question, "so where are you from" had to happen. Central Florida gave it away but he still had no idea what I had in store for him.

Much to his surprise again, I had Chris and Ashley meet us at our destination along with our good friends Tim and Shannon.

Finally I can breath after keeping this a secret from everyone for so long. Sorry to those who may feel left out of the surprise. I had to keep it quite for my own sake because I knew I would want to tell everyone all of the fun plans I had and I just knew I would slip up somewhere.
Michael wore this smile all weekend long!
Thank you Chris, Ashley, Tim, Shannon, and Lucy for making this the best birthday ever for Michael!!!

My next surprise was something my husband has talked about since I've known him. He's always wanted to take a "behind-the-scenes" tour of Disney so that's what we did. Let me just say, Disney has it down to a science.

We had such a fun weekend and boy did Graham have fun having his GiGi, PawPaw and Uncle Kevin all to himself. Every time I called, I could hear him laughing and talking in the background. What a special weekend he had himself.

Fun Pics.

We made it to some garage sales today and boy does Graham love one of his new toys. He gets so mad if you try to sit him down on the Zebra so we've resolved to just let him push it in circles.
Graham loves eating his breakfast outside every morning. Tucker, the neighbor's dog, keeps us entertained as he barks at anything that moves.
Big Boy on the playground.
" What in the world is this contraption Mommy?" Good question Graham, I think it's a swing for babies but we won't be trying it out again. That was not fun.
Taking a break from all of this climbing and playing.

11 Months Old

Graham takes this tractor EVERYWHERE. It is his version of the security blanket. PawPaw had to repair it while we were home because the front axle was broken. Graham wouldn't know what to do if something happened to his tractor.
Taking our monthly picture has become an excited time. It's really become a game. Trying to keep Graham upright with a smile long enough to capture it is very hard.

Our backyard resort.
Graham has turned Annie's (our old golden retriever) pool into his new summer hot spot.
Thankfully Graham doesn't require many toys. He just plays with the same ones over and over. All he really wants is a straw, a spoon, or a spatula.

He found the grill spatula and that has taken over as his favorite pool toy.

More Mississippi time.

PawPaw was able to get Graham to put his face in the water and he loved it. The only problem is getting him to keep his mouth closed and not drink the water.

Graham loves flip phones.

Back that thang up Graham!

Graham and I flew back to Nashville. He does well on every flight but not being bale to push his tractor in the aisle got a little frustrating at times for him. So much for the dirty floor. He crawled under the seats on top of our sweet seat partner, and all over me.

Who needs a bathroom to change a diaper?

Thankfully Graham gave me no struggle as I changed his diaper.

Summer Fun!

Graham has a bit of trouble sleeping when we are home in Mississippi. This is him waking from a nights rest in my bed. Needless to say I didn't wake up so refreshed.
Sweet boy!
Poor Graham has been suffering from a double ear infection for a week now. You can see that he's trying to smile for the camera but those ears are just too painful.

Those little red knees look so sore. Graham has been walking behind his toys for two months now but will not try to take steps on his own. Every time we try to get him to take a few steps he sits down and crawls.
Who's that boy behind that towel? It's Graham, it's Graham.
Chilling on the back porch.
We're lovin' the grilled cheese sandwiches.
Good morning happy boys.
