A day at the ParkS

Since we've had such beautiful weather, I decided to take the kiddos to Percy Warner and Palmer park for the morning. You can see we started out all smiles.
All smiles again. And yes we climbed all of the stairs at the park entrance. If you haven't been out to percy warner, the stairs are basically like climbing a a small mountain. Try that with a two year running ahead of you while carrying a 6 month old. I definitely got my work out in for the day.
Not so smiley on the trail.

The Zoo

This was Virginia's first trip to the zoo. Thank you for going with us Pat! I couldn't have managed it alone.

Maybe goats are in Graham's future PawPaw.
About the time the zoo keeper tells us to stay away from her head, Graham goes in to pet her head and gets a nice head butt to the stomach. No injuries to report.
The coin drop was the highlight of the whole day.
Graham and this little boy were laughing and having the best time watching the coins race.
Are you sure that's your last penny Mrs. Pat?

Old toys bring new fun

Graham about 10 months old here.
and 2 years old here. This toy had been put away since Graham outgrew it a while back. Graham isn't quite convinced that I got it down for Sissy.

"O-Miss Ha-eee Ta-eee"

O-Miss = Ole Miss
Ha-eee Ta-eee = Hotty Toddy
Watching brother play football already.

This one's for you K K.

Show-Time

Almost every afternoon after naps we have show-time. Graham usually needs a buffer between sleep and play. I suppose it's kind of his "time before he gets his coffee". Virginia is working on her tripodding,

You can see what our den looks like everyday before the toys are put away. Most of these were in the playroom but Graham feels the need to bring a toy upstairs with him almost every times he leaves the playroom.

Happy Halloween

Thomas the train was this year's top pick.
Graham loved wearing it but after the initial excitement wore off, usually about 5 minutes, it was time to take it off. But he was a good sport and wore it to his school party, his school festival and our Halloween party at the house.

We failed to get a picture of Graham and Virginia in the costumes. Thankfully we got a cute one of Cinderella (Lucy) and the sunflower.
You can see Virginia was already out of her costume and Graham was working on getting out of his. Sorry Madding.
