A-Day at Auburn University

The kids had a great time in Auburn.

This was Mary Virginia's actual 3rd birthday and we celebrated with Lightening McQueen plates and napkins at Chik-fil-a on campus.

Graham and Michael enjoyed the scrimmage and autograph session afterwards.

Happy Easter!

 We spent Easter in Mississippi.

Graham 4, Charlie 5 months, and Mary Virginia almost 3.

Graham's new soccer team

Boy have we been waiting for this day to arrive.  Graham started his new soccer team today and had the best time.  6 goals-way to go G!

I thought this was so sweet.  His first team handshake.
Graham was not feeling well at all despite his good game.  He had been to the doctor twice this week and no signs of any sickness, but two days later, he was diagnosed with double ear infections.  He was pretty tough to hang in there for his game.

Grandparent's Day

Mom and Dad made it up for Graham's Grandparent's Day at preschool.

Mary Virginia's 3rd birthday party

We celebrated Mary Virginia's birthday a few weeks early sine GiGi and PawPaw were in town.
Per the cake cookbook I referenced in an earlier post, Sis has been asking for the purse cake and Lightening McQueen.  I felt this was more fitting for a little girl but I'm sure the latter will appear closer to her birthday.

Gigi and Pawpaw gave her a new pink Barbie jeep.

Easter Egg Hunt

The kids enjoyed a fun Easter egg hunt at Woodmont Baptist Preschool.
Graham's buddies at school. Graham G, Dax, and Reed.

Where did those smiles come from?

Fort Walton Beach, March 2012

We took a ride over to Milton, Fl to do a little cleanup at the family cemetery.   It was Gran's birthday today.

Charlie's first visit to our favorite goofy golf course.

Tradition holds and we get slush's after our game.
Here we go, Charlie's first trip to the beach, March 17th, 2012.
I think he's going to like it.
The water was frigid cold, but that didn't keep these kiddos out of it.  I was so thankful to have to tend to Charlie so I didn't have to go in.  Poor Michael had to take Sis all the way out to jump the waves.

It took a while, but little bit finally fell asleep on the beach.  It was windy so I swaddled him up and he stayed there for almost an hour.
This child loves to roll around in the sand and grab handfuls to throw in the water.  It is so funny how she can do this for hours without getting bored.  Chasing the seagulls may be her second favorite thing to do.
