Graham's first cold.

Poor little Graham. Last night Michael and I noticed he had a runny nose and that he seemed to be sneezing more than usual. Thankfully he didn't have a fever and was able to sleep somewhat through the night. This morning I called the doctor's office but they didn't think we needed to come in. On the recommendation, we are running the humidifier and I've propped his crib up on one end to hopefully help with the flow of things. He hasn't wanted to sleep in his crib all day so he's been swinging through every nap. He LOVES his swing. I try not to use too often as I don't want him to get tired of it. We hope he will be feeling better by tomorrow, or even tonight.

12 Weeks old

My legs are filling out more and more every day.
Everybody says they want to squeeze my cheeks. This morning I was trying so hard to lift my head up.
Then Viola! I did it!I had to raise my eyebrows in order to raise up my head every time. I was worn out after this photo shoot.
Miss Leslie and her friend Miss Heather came up to see me all the way from Birmingham. Mommy had been bragging about how I don't cry very often when they started to laugh and boy did it scare me. I was showing my frown face and crying. That will teach Mommy not to brag too much! Sorry ladies.

My first plane ride

This was my first plane ride. Mommy and Daddy took me to Marco Island, Florida with our friends, the Stansell's.
I really had a good time on it because I didn't have to be in my carseat. The flight wasn't full so I had my very own seat to take naps in while we were in flight. We timed it just perfectly because I ate at the beginning of both flights and then slept until it was time to get off the plane.

First trip to the beach

I'm ready for the beach. Mommy lathered me all up with sunscreen and made me wear this silly hat that matches my swimsuit. Daddy says to just play along because she loves to dress me up like her little baby doll.
That sun sure is bright to me. It took a little bit for me to get used to it. I just snuggled up with Mommy until I got used to it.
Daddy took me out in the water so I could put my feet in the gulf for the first time.
Is that a cute belly or what?
The water was a little choppy as there was a tropical storm brewing while we were there.

My first in a swimming pool

The water was chilly but it didn't bother me.

I take after my Mommy when it comes to swimming pools. I LOVED IT!!!!
Happy Boy!!
We had so much fun playing in the pool. It was like a giant bath tub.

More shots from Florida

My friend Lily and her Mom Mrs. Larissa enjoyed a walk down the beach.
Lily thought the sun was a little too bright for her as well.
Our Mommy's tried to get us to look at the camera and smile at the same time but that just wasn't going to happen.
Lily thinks this is funny but I'm not sure what is so amusing about this.

And the rain came down...

Daddy and Mr. Jake were hanging out in the room giving all of us a hard time for staying by the pool during the rain. Mommy and Mrs. Larissa were determined to get some sun no matter what.
And it rained some more.
The clouds rolled in and weren't going anywhere.

Naptime on the beach

As soon as we got outside the second day, I started getting very sleepy.
There was no hope for me once they took me to the beach and those waves started crashing ashore. I slept for quite a while in my stroller while Daddy read the paper and Mommy got some sun time.

Headed Home

We were headed to dinner tonight. Our hotel was without water all day and when they finally cut it back on, there was no hot water. Mommy and Daddy took cold showers but sweet Mommy heated water up for me on the stove so that I would have a warm bath. Lily and I had fun bath times in the sink.
I was kind of sad to leave Marco Island because I loved the beach. I will be ready to get back to my own bed because I sure didn't sleep very well at night down there.
Lily and I in our matching car seats headed to the airport. Can you tell that I fell asleep shortly after Mommy took this picture?
Mommy and Mrs. Larissa were packed in the backseat of our rented minivan.
Sweet Lily!

Flying home.

I had a bit of a blowout in the airport but thankfully Mommy had packed a change of clothes for me in her carry on bag. It took both Mommy and Daddy to change me after that one.
I loved looking out the window while my Daddy held me. I just can't believe all that I've seen and I'm only 11 weeks old.

There is just so much to look at and learn about.

Week 10

Daddy made me laugh this morning on our way to church. Poor Mommy, I'm making her laugh so much that she's starting to get crows feet around her eyes. Headed to "big boy" church with Mommy and Daddy. Next week I think I'm going to have to go to the nursery while Mommy and Daddy go to Big Church.
Mommy just cannot get me to laugh and take a picture at the same time.

Note from Mommy

Our little BooBoo has slept through the night two nights in a row. WOW!!! We are so excited but trying not to get to used to it should we relapse. By the way, sleeping through the night for an infant is considered sleeping for 6 hours. We've put him down around 11 both Friday and Saturday night and he slept until 5 Saturday and 6:15 Sunday. It will probably be a few more months before we get the anticipated 11-12 hour sleeper. But for now, this is a MAJOR milestone!
Graham stayed with his friend Lily last night while Michael and I went to our friend's Abby and Benji's for a fun shower/party. Jake and Larissa have just laughed at how layed back Graham is at their house. We really have been blessed with a sweet, cuddly little boy. We'll have more pictures up soon because he is growing so fast we have to document every week. Colleen says Michael spit him right out of his mouth and Larissa calls him Michael's little "Minnie Me". All I can say, is he's my little Cutie Pie and he makes me laugh every day.

Week 9

We have ourselves quite a long (tall) boy on our hands.
This was a close of a smile as Mommy was going to get. Why? The next pictures will tell you.
She took me to the doctor for my shots. Nurse Caitlin gave me three shots and an oral vaccination. When she stuck me that first time, my eyes got really big and then I had to let out a scream. I've never felt pain like that before. She was fast though and as soon as she finished my Daddy grabbed me up and everything was okay. I was asleep before we even got to the car. I think it was harder for Mommy than for me because she almost started crying at the doctor's office.
My Batman band aids were cool.

Florida Fun

This is my Great Aunt McWhorter or better known as NacNac. Daddy says it's not every day that a little boy is named after his Aunt.
Mrs. Peggy and Mrs. Mary came over to see me while we were in Florida.
They brought me more Auburn goodies. I'm afraid my Uncle Kevin is going to be disappointed that I now have more Auburn gear than Ole Miss. The battle for my heart has already begun.

Ms. Paige came over to see me too. She says I'm a good looking little boy.
