4 Months old today

Sweet girl had to go in for shots today. I must say she did extremely well considering the pain. As soon as I was able to pick her up she was fine and fell asleep in the car.
MV was a happy camper when she woke up from her 3 hour nap.

Finally got a picture of her playing with her feet.

Thought some of you may want to see what her nursery looks like. These are couple of the dresses I've made for Mary Virginia. Our friend Pat made the sweet blue day gown.

If I could, I would have pink, blue and white shabby chic all over my house but not sure the boys would appreciate that.

More around the house

Neighborhood cat. Rumor has it that his name is Scooter and his home is behind ours but it seems Scooter spends more time hanging out in our yard than his. Thankfully he is a friendly playful kitty but none-the-less....
Graham's "yeah-e-o". Translated=Radio

We haven't mastered how to bathe both G and MV at the same time, so we place her tub next to his. He found her tub much more entertaining than his big tub.

Daddy's version of "watching the kids" Hmmmm!

Mary Virginia

I have to say thank you to our Lord for two healthy sweet babies. I never take for granted what we have and pray that we are able to see them live long healthy lives. MV has been such a doll-literally. She barely makes a peep, she's just happy to watch everything that's going on. Now that she has discovered her feet, I'll walk into her room to get her from a nap and she is just talking and playing with those little (long) toes. It is adorable to me.

She's definitely got her Momma's feet.
The jury is still out on what we are going to call Sissy. Is she Mary Virginia or Virginia? We've been trying the double name but it just isn't sticking with me. She may be 5 years old before we know so forgive me for flip flopping throughout our blog.

Around the house

"Um Mommy" is Graham's version of Look Mommy. On this particular day it was his splits and how fast he could run from the bookshelf to the desk. Most days it is either how high he can throw a ball or how well he can hop. It really is so cute, I need to get it on film soon.

The other popular phrase around our house is "No, Mine". When i pulled the old bumbo seat out for Sissy, Graham decided it was still his and that he needed to sit in it. I was very surprised he could fit without getting stuck.
He eventually got bored and let Sissy have a turn. We are working on strengthening our neck since we hate tummy time.

This picture will have to stand in for our weekly 14 week pic as we failed to take it while on vacation.

Graham wanted to hold his Sissy today. He rarely smiles for the camera, just gets this silly stare and open mouth look these days. Not sure what that is all about but that he knows I want him to smile so he doesn't.

Vacation to Orange Beach

Virginia pretty much stayed in the condo the whole trip.

Poor Mom, this is what her time with Graham looks like 24/7. He is always dragging her to play and will tell exactly where to sit by pointing to the spot.

We went down to the beach before bedtime and snapped a few good pics.

"Cool Breeze" loves his sunglasses.

The four of us enjoyed a nice dinner at LuLu's while Dad stayed home with both babies. When we got back around 10 pm, I asked Dad if he would be willing to do it again and he said, "Sure, but not any time soon." I think he was worn out from a 2 year old and a 3 month old.

Not sure what 's going on here.

Graham has gotten to fish a lot at PawPaw's house, but this was his first real fishing trip. Uncle Kevin and PawPaw took Graham and Michael to the new pier in Gulf Shores.

Graham was about at the end of his rope.

Sweet girl.

Graham couldn't be happier. Of course, neither could GiGi.

Playing in Fort Walton Beach

Thanks for coming over to meet Virginia Paige!
Graham and PopPop had the best time in the pool.

In fact, Graham learned to go under and kick while we were at PopPop's house. Now if we can just teach him out to kick his feet so that he will get somewhere, we'll have him swimming.

Gran's (Michael's mom) two dear friends, Mrs. Peggy and Mrs. Mary, came over to meet Virginia for the first time. It is so special that Gran's friends make her grand babies so special even though she can't be here with us! Thank you!
Our little Mary Virginia was named after family from both sides of our families. Michael's Grandmother was Mary Virginia and here is one of her granddaughters-Virginia.

The other granddaughter-Mary. Watching the boats in the Destin harbor.

Haven't you people ever seen a girl mow the lawn?
For some reason, this stopped Michael and his Dad from doing anything productive because they were so taken by me mowing the grass. Here is another reason why we consider Michael to be "city" boy.

PopPop had quite the pool party!
