The puppies love getting in Graham's Moses basket. Where we will be spending the majority of our time for the next few months I'm sure. Still looking for a rug and waiting on my picture frames that will go above the bed.
Several of my friends and family have asked that I post some pictures of myself pregnant. This is not something I have been real fond of but I figured I'll regret it if I don't take some pictures.
Poor Michael. He had no idea that his coworkers were planning a suprise shower for him this past Monday. We were so thankful for all of the wonderful gifts but most of all, for them thinking of us in such a sweet way. Thank you Vanderbilt Pharmacy!!
While my family left for vacation, we got to dogsit and play with the sweet puppies. They weren't quite sure what to do in the water. You can see that one thought he could dig a hole through the pool. They are too cute!
We are a little under 5 weeks out from Graham's due date so we decided it was time to get started on his nursery. Mom and Kevin came up for a long weekend and the fun began. You may wonder why I would paint an already baby blue room a different color since it is a little boy we are expecting. My answer: You can only keep a little boy a baby for a short time and then it's trains, planes, cowboys and boats from there on out. I just wanted to make a sweet baby room and natural colors, linen and white all seem to make it feel that way. Here are some pictures to show the progression of the nursery. I will post the completed version soon.
Mom threw up the paint in a matter of minutes. Amazing. This would have, no doubt, taking us all weekend to complete.
My brother, Kevin, has adopted two miniature Shelties named Bud and Junior. (after Dale Earnhart Jr and his sponsor) They traveled to Nashville over the weekend to meet their cousin Annie (15 year old Golden Retriever) who was not very impressed by them. They are adorable and their features are just so petite.
