A week in Mississippi

GiGi dressed me up in my farm boy outfit today. She found these little booties that have cows on them and they rattle when I kick my feet. We all just laughed and laughed. Uncle Kevin sure is funny.

Shoo-we are so tired after lifting all of those heavy weights back there. I don't know how Uncle Kevin does this every day. One day though, I'll be out here trying to lift more than him.
Mrs. Carol came over to see me today while Mommy went shopping.
GiGi has already started spoiling me. She bought me this fun new toy and boy is it fun to play on. Rumor has it that she has a whole closet full of toys upstairs and that they are all mine when I get bigger.

Bud and Junior aren't quite sure what to think about me. They haven't been around any babies.
Whoa Cowboy! I almost rocked out of my bumbo.

Still trying to figure me out.
Today was Great Grandmother's birthday so we went to Sumrall for her birthday party. I was quite a talker tonight.

Aunt Nancy got me to talk the most though. I put on a show for everyone.

My Baby Dedication

My gown was so long that Mommy and Daddy had to dress me at the church because I couldn't fit in my car seat.

Aunt Janet helped get all of my buttons buttoned. It was two years ago this month that Mommy was helping button-up Kirkland in the same gown.

PaPaw and Aunt Janet carrying all of my gear for us.

Great Grandmother and Great Granddaddy Graham were here to see me on my big day.

That sun was a little bright but I still love sitting with my Uncle Kevin.

Mommy's little angel.
FYI from Mommy: Through Graham's dedication, Michael and I have committed to raise Graham in a home where Christ comes first. We've also committed to show him that we love each other and will provide a loving environment for him. Our family has committed to do the same and we pray that our friends will join us. Raising a family takes more than what Michael and I have to offer, but we know that if we lead by example, pray, and seek God's mercy, Graham may make a decision to follow Christ and join us for eternity. We were asked to pick out a verse for Graham and read it before the Church.
We hope that these, along with many more, will comfort and encourage Graham one day.
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, Your Savior." Isaiah 43: 1-3
Cousin Kirkland is hidden back there, but he's trying to help me out with the pacifier.

Gran, Daddy's Mom, had this gown made for my cousin Harrison ten years ago. He wore it, Kirkland wore, and now I'm getting to wear. Gran would be so proud to see all of her grand babies wearing this beautiful gown. Mommy even embroidered our initials and dates on the inside. Of course, she messed up and put my birth date on it but at least that's correct.

The O'Neal clan. Aunt Janet and Mommy are quite out numbered by the men.

Sweet Boys!
GiGi was getting me ready for my nap. This party has worn me out.

More pics from the weekend.

Daddy, or Unc My as Kirkland says, sure is fun.
Kirkland helped Aunt Juli cook and get ready for our party.
Ms. Colleen and Lucy came over to eat dinner and play with us today.
I'll be so glad when baby Michael and I can play with Lucy and Kirkland.
Michael sure did like Mrs. Janet rocking him.
PawPaw's getting me ready to go night-night.

Graham's big weekend.

Great Grandmother has the magic touch. I was getting so sleepy.
PawPaw likes to take me outside to see what's going on.
I love my Aunt Janet.
It was so fun waking up to my cousin Kirkland and Aunt Janet. I just laughed and stretched a lot.
Then I got sit with them and rock a while.
Uncle Kevin brought me so many fun surprises. The first one was this John Deere cap that fits me perfectly. I'm going to wear it on the farm next week. I'm so excited about going back to Mississippi for a whole week. PawPaw, GiGi, and Uncle Kevin spoil me so much!!
GiGi and I have a lot of secrets we share. She's telling me all of hers right now and I'm just thinking over all of them.

Great Granddaddy came to see me too! He and Great Grandmother have been travelling so much but I was so happy they came to Nashville this weekend.

Harvest Baby

Mommy put me onthe front porch this morning and took so many pictures. I wonder what the people driving by must think?
Daddy was off today and boy did we have fun together. He made me laugh when he kept calling me his "sweet boy" and bouncing me up and down.

14 Weeks old

I sure am ready to sit up on my own.

Isn't he a cutie pie?

Mommy dressed me up this morning. It has finally cooled off and feels like fall outside so I'm getting to wear new clothes.

My blanky

I love my blanky that Mommy made for me. I can get my hands on the tabs and pull it to my mouth. I've learned how to grab a few things and I'm starting to put them in mouth. I'm getting a little messy too. I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to do with this stuff (drool) in my mouth. The blanky sure does take care of a lot of it though.
Where is Graham?
Daddy was in charge of me today. We watched a lot of football together. Well, I did anyway, he mostly slept. That's what Saturdays are for!

My new Bumbo seat

Thank you cousin Bess! My new seat is quite interesting. Mommy says I look like a little old man hanging out in this picture.

It's still a little awkward for me. I kind of fall over to the sides every now and then.It sure is good practice for me though. My neck is getting stronger and stronger.

13 Weeks Old

A full night's sleep makes me a happy baby. I slept from 10:45 last night until 7:20 this morning. Mommy doesn't know what to think now that I'm not sleeping as much during the day. I think she got a little spoiled.
My legs just keep getting bigger and bigger. I'm so thankful to be over my cold from last week. It was hard sleeping on a bed propped up on one side by a lot of books. And that bulb thing they kept sticking up my nose. I can take it, but I'm glad that's over.
Me and my friend Michael had so much fun hanging out the other night. Mommy and Daddy are so glad that he and Lucy and their mom, Ms. Colleen, are back in Franklin. We are going to have so much fun together.
