Graham's first Field Trip

Graham and his class from Calvary Methodist walked over to the neighboring church's pumpkin patch. It was quite a site to see 6 babies in one large commercial stroller.
Things were going well and I was able to snap a few pictures of Graham around the pumpkins until the wagon was spotted.

Things went downhill from this point on. Graham wanted nothing to do with his class or the pumpkins, he was only interested in pushing and pulling the wagon around. You can see his friend Rayven has just tried to play with the wagon and Graham, very seriously, leaned down and told her no in his on way. I was shocked to see my son (who cannot talk) telling another sweet little girl off in such an ugly way. I had had enough and took the wagon away as punishment and boy did that make him mad. No more wagon for Graham. After dealing with this situation, I had to turn to help the teachers coral a few other little ones who were heading to the street. When I turned around to make sure Graham was minding and not touching the wagon, this is what I saw...

Graham has now suckered a dad into pulling him around. He's a smart cookie. He was minding me, but still getting to play with the wagon at this poor dad's expense. What a field trip. I've decided I may not try to make another field trip for a while.
We did try to get a class picture. What we were thinking. You can see how things are deteriorating quickly.

and so much for that idea.

Papaw's Birthday weekend

And of course, Papaw makes me laugh!
I make Papaw laugh!
Hanging out with Kirkland and Uncle Patrick at Harrison's football game.

Good fake Harrison!

Kirkland showed Graham around the sidelines. They met a few little girls and had fun playing with balls and the tractor.

15 Months

Sorry to say it but I've given up on our monthly growth pictures. Graham has become too busy to get still shots anymore. Here are a few fun pics from the last month or so.Graham and Daddy mowed the entire front lawn.
Graham loves his backpack carrier. Last week while I was away, Michael cleaned the house and mopped the floors while Graham tagged along on his back in the carrier. Isn't that something?

He loves to clean out a toy bin and get in it. We are practicing our clean skills and he's doing fairly well. He gets a little bored after he's thrown a few toys back in the bin.

Heading to church.

Nashville Zoo

"Seriously?"

Finally got a smile for the camera.
Surprisingly, Graham wanted to ride in the stroller rather than walk.
Almost got a still shot of Graham and Lily sitting together.
If ever there is an older kid around, our son is in awe. He gets so tickled by them. You can see him laughing at the little girl.
This is what he thought of the goat in the petting zoo. This is usually what happens when he's unsure about something.

Side shot.

Yet another "almost" still shot of the two of them.

I realized that the animals weren't quite the draw for us. It was the people. Graham is so happy people-watching. I wonder where he gets that from?

School Days!

Graham loves the slide in his new classroom.

The garden center has also shown up on his daily activity sheet several times.
This was a new one for me. Puzzles. I couldn't believe that he was interested in them because they don't have wheels, they don't bounce, and they don't make noise.
Aren't these little chairs the cutest? Graham and his friends sit at the table for lunch these days.
Enjoying some music time with his water bottles.

Going shopping.

Graham got a new shopping cart today. This child loves to push toys with wheels. We've hit the jackpot here because he can throw toys in it and push them around.

Couldn't get a smile out of him when the camera was ready of course.
Who needs a swimsuit?"I love my new bucket and shovels Mrs. Pat gave me!" Thank you!

O'Neal family additionS!

Call us crazy but we knew we wanted pets and like children, when are you ever ready? We've rescued two golden retrievers from a rescue here in Nashville. We don't know much about them but think they are related (perhaps brother and sister or mother and son) and they've been malnourished so these are some of our before pictures.

We are in the process of renaming them Hank, the blond and Sweetie, the red. They are really sweet sweet dogs and Graham of course is so excited.

Hank has been the most interested in Graham. The perfect first day! Hank
