Meeting the relatives

Graham "met" his namesake a few weeks ago. McWhorter is Graham's middle name-which is his great Aunt and Great Grandfather's name.

Graham, Daddy, and PopPop had all gone to the Milton Cemetery to clean up a little.

I tend to get a little weirded out, scared if you will, around cemeteries, but Graham seemed to think it was a fun playground. I think my Uncle Myron told us too many scary stories when I was little and I have quite the imagination now! :)

Chris and Ashley's wedding weekend

And the weekend is off to a good start...(for Chris that is)

Mary Virginia didn't have such a good weekend. We knew MV didn't like to be cold, but after this weekend, we discovered she doesn't like to be hot either. High maintenance already :). The 108 degree weather in Wichita Falls, TX was not her idea of fun. She would get so worked up in the car that she would be restless the rest of the day and night. She and I powered through it. Michael had already flown out so we were on our own and thankfully Graham was with my parents. Two flights (changing planes), renting a car, 2.5 hour drive, renting a hotel room and getting us both ready was no easy task. I truly don't know how single parents do it. Perhaps they don't take vacations alone like I did or don't mind being stressed for the fun activities. Thankfully Michael was able to spend time with Chris and get him all ready and excited about his big day and hopefully wasn't stressed from our little girl. We hope our next visit out will be easier on us all! I would do it all over again 100 times though to be there for Chris' wedding day!

The wedding was beautiful, sweet and perfect from our seat. We are so excited that Chris has found the love of his life and that Ashley is here to stay. Thank you for letting us be a part of it Bub and Ash!

On Sunday morning, we drove back to Dallas and were able to meet up with Jeff and Summer for Brunch at our favorite Dallas eatery-Mrs. Breadwinners. It is the best food ever!!!

Alli Rose and Charlie with Mary Virginia-I wanted to bring them home with me. Summer- I think you'll have it made if you have another Baby! Allie Rose is already a good helper at 3.

Wesley came by to join us as well. You can see MV is starting to get hot! :)

Two weeks on the farm.

Michael flew with us to New Orleans before leaving for a fun bachelor trip off the coast of Honduras. It was Mary Virginia's first flight and Graham's last free flight. What a momentous flight! MV was exactly the same age as Graham when he flew for the first time, 10 weeks.

Sweet Pea was an angel for the entire flight. There was a little boy sitting across the isle from us so Graham was entertained by throwing a football back and forth with him. It was our best trip to date.

Graham had the best time at both of his birthday parties. We celebrated at home before G's birthday so we could play with friends and get wet in the front yard. G's actual birthday was spent in MS at GiGi and PawPaw's house so what better way to celebrate than with a barnyard cake down on the farm.

Moving on to our Nashville party where Mommy and Mrs. Larissa baked Graham's cake and cupcakes. It was our attempt at making barnyard animal cupcakes. We have to admit, we thought they were pretty cute!

Graham tore up most of the goody bags before our guests even arrived. I was trying to use them as decorations but Graham thought it was so cool that he could move them around that he helped me "decorate". He kept saying "par tee par tee: as we were getting ready.

The water table was the hit of the party. Thanks for letting us borrow it Hontus!

The weather was perfect for our party. We had such a good time enjoying the mild weather that we hung out all morning. Graham was so tired he kept saying "side, side" as to tell me he was ready to go inside and take a nap.

Catching up

You can see how long it has been since my last post by looking at how much little Miss Mary Virginia has grown. I'm averaging once a month these days.

We had to get some antibiotics for MV's clogged and infected tear duct.

Our little bunting baby sleeps well when she has her arms tied down so they can't wake her up when they want to flail. It's so funny how babies don't even know their arms and hands are attached to them at this age.

We attempted to get some announcement pics but our little helper just wanted to play.

I promise that I will get some baby announcements out before this child turns 1!
