Not so Hotty Toddy.

We headed down to the Ole Miss vs. Alabama game this past weekend. I had high expectations of getting a family picture in the grove since I had everybody dressed in rebel garb. As you will see, that didn't happen.

It was cold, rainy, muddy, and nap time-none of which makes for a good grove experience. Thankfully Virginia fell asleep but Graham was miserable.
My Mom took Graham to hear the band so we never got any pictures of him.

Proof that she made it to the groove.

Got your nose.

Got your nose KK.
Spending time with KK.

Visiting with Grandmother and Granddaddy.

Country Fun

Paw Paw grew Graham his very own pumpkin. GiGi found all of our old baby shoes and even Kevin's old cowboy boots that Graham is wearing in this picture.
Graham isn't afraid of "Man". Yes my Dad names his bulls. And yes, they have all been named Man to my knowledge. I think their humps are gross but Graham likes to pet the hump. YUK!

Sissy and KK out in the shop. That's what we call my Dad's garage and work shed. When we are home it is where Graham would prefer to spend ALL of his time.

I'm afraid my little one inherited my crooked smile.

Hotty Toddy.

Ole Miss was in town to play Vanderbilt today. The kids stayed home with Dad while we endured the chilly weather.

It was a little cool for Sissy so we tried on her new winter hat. Cutie pie!

Caroline's Princess Party

Graham went to his first Princess birthday party today. Please look carefully, our child is the only one not eating ice cream or cake. He's checking everybody out but it's not convincing him to put it in his mouth. We have a picky picky eater on our hands. He may be pickier than me, I didn't think it was possible.

Thank you for inviting us Caroline! We had fun playing on all of the play sets!

Playing

Graham is only supposed to have his B-B (pacifier) in the bed so this is his way of getting it during the day. How can I argue that?
5 Months old

Graham and Virginia played in his bed together for little while this morning. It is so cute to see him play with her. The other morning I was in the kitchen when I kept hearing her giggle. Virginia was in her bouncy seat and Graham was being silly and making her laugh. It was so fun to see because he was unprompted by me to play with her. Graham loves his Sissy and will be quick to tell you she's "my sissy" if you come near her in the car seat or stroller. His little friends at school are learning to stay away from her or he'll come running. Literally! I'm just thankful he's already protective, can you imagine what he'll be like when they are both at "big school"?

We discovered the remote control train at the Monkey's treehouse.

Check out the static in the hair.

No MORE RAIN!!!

We've grown quite accustomed to this dreary picture. I think it rained for over 14 days straight a few weeks ago and guess what, it's back. This has been the dreariest fall I can recall.
Thankfully it cleared long enough for us to get out one day and head to the park. The slides were too wet to play on but the choo choo and geese kept us entertained.

I thought I would get some good pictures of them in their cute matching outfits but that didn't happen. I keep forgetting that I can't man both of them and get a cute picture by myself. I'm hoping once Virginia is sitting up on her own, things will get a little easier.

So for now, this is the picture I was able to get of both of them.

Rainy days

Yeahhhhh for the mailman today. GiGi sent us a fun package with this Ole Miss hat and new truck! It couldn't have arrived at a better time.
This is a happy face not a sad face.

Hmmm, says Sissy. Those are my shoes!

Graham discovered some crocs in MV's closet the other night. He thought they were too cool and had to wear them.
Are they a little tight brother?

Labor Day weekend

We headed down to Fort Walton Beach for our last summer trip. I must say, this was one of our worst travelling trips to date. It took us almost 5 hours to get to the other side of Birmingham (normally a 3 hour trip) so we decided to get a hotel room and finish the drive in the morning.

PopPop watched Virginia during a nap so we could take little G out on the boat one morning. Graham loved the boat ride as well as climbing the huge sand dunes.

This little boy is not scared of anything we've decided. (Barring extremely loud noises.) He played in that murky sound water like it was a swimming pool. I, on the other hand, kept my distance on the shore and in the boat. I'm not a big fan of water I cant see in!

Michael and Graham went to the Ft. Walton Beach high school football game. It was another late night but Graham had a great time!

Pierson is a new friend Graham has made in Fort Walton Beach.

Sporting the Trojan colors.

It's always nice to know the principal!

Growing girl

Getting curious about things now that we know our hands can bring it to our mouths!Yep-the "B-B" is becoming more and more our friend these days!
Mary Virginia has her second runny nose this week. Guess who she acquired it from?....
So I skipped week #21 and got this week wrong, it's really #22. I'll just have to make the correction on the back of the picture because getting another photo shoot in today is not on the agenda.

When I was at Target this week, I spotted these leg warmers. I HAD to have them for MV! HAD TO!!! I told Michael that I remember when I was little and thought the "Fame" was the biggest deal and so wanted to wear leg warmers. I don't remember if I actually had any but I know I thought they were THE coolest ever. So now my 5 month old gets to wear them.

Whoops, trying to catch the fall. Taking pictures solo isn't easy! No injuries during this shoot!
