8 Months Old

Graham is at such a fun, and funny, stage. He will sit a play by himself forever-especially in front of the floor mirror in his room. He just talks and talks (really a yell) to his toys (usually his Boudreaux's paste or Tylenol bottle). He still has no teeth and no hair. We learned last night that he loves butter beans. Yogurt, peaches and cheerios are his favorite new snacks. Since he has no teeth it is difficult to find foods that he can gum well enough to swallow without choking. You can see a slight red dot on his forehead. Yep, that would be where my fingernail cut him. Good job Mommy. Taking our monthly picture in the same spot is becoming a two person project these days.
Changing Graham's diaper has become quite a task. He just wants to get to the supplies I have at the end of his changing table. Most of the time I can only get the diaper on, then we have to transfer to the floor so I can dress him while he plays. He loves his Boudreaux's paste.

His belly is so big that you can barely tell he's wearing a diaper.

One thing Graham has learned this past week is how to crawl. He isn't full speed yet but I'm sure he will be soon. He goes about 3 or 4 feet and then sits back down to talk a little and contemplate his next move.
Going, going, going.....GONE!!!!

Sweet Graham. Our little Grahamolumpolis.

My favorite toy is.....

This stand up Elmo toy that the Spauldings gave us. Thank you so much! Cookie monster's mouth must stay open at all times and the blue dish that sits inside his mouth must stay out of his mouth or else...
Every part sings a song or plays music while Elmo's head rocks back and forth. This is where our little boy is becoming a little violent because he will chew on Elmo's eyes and pat-pat his head a little too hard sometimes.
I LOVE OREOS!! Nawww, just kidding. It's a piece of my Elmo toy.
Graham is the funniest little boy. He sits with his feet crossed all of the time. We think he's going to take after the Graham side of the family because we (Mommy, PawPaw and Granddaddy Graham) all sit in chairs with our legs crossed.

Cousin David comes to visit

David, you gonna finish that chili? PaPaw says, "Call home, your mother worries". I call my mommy all of the time!

Date night

Well we all had a date night to the California Pizza Kitchen.
I was clearly more interested in the pizza.
..and the traffic outside.

Almost 8 months old

What's with the eye?
Graham's first bath in the kitchen sink.
Loving the water.

Sweet BooBoo has learned to pull up on the bed and bring himself to his knees. This has caused several new bruises on his forehead unfortunately.
Just chillin in my crib.
Something has caught Graham's attention

Snow in Nashville

Wednesday morning Nashville got enough snow to cover the ground and get a few pretty pictures in. This was Graham's second experience with snow. His first was back in January while we were Mississippi. He looks to be asking me "Now why am I on the cold wet ground?"
I think these pants are really capris on our little boy! :)
This is the view looking down our new street. Isn't it pretty?

7 months old

Graham hasn't learned to crawl but he is getting so close, I'm getting sad. All he wants to do is climb over your shoulder and get to the nearest table to pull everything off. Our simple life is about to be over! Earlier this week we went to the pool with Lily. Graham wanted nothing of the raft and just wanted to play and splash in the water. Lily was so funny chilling and relaxing on her raft. She kept looking at Graham like "why are you working so hard?" We had fun and thankfully our little Graham loves the water and doesn't mind it splashing him in the eyes.
Our little "Stud Muffin" has been sick with a cold this week but seems to be on the upside of things. Even when he doesn't feel well we can still get a sweet smile out of him.
We've started going to the church nursery and may have picked up some fun new germs. Or it could be mother-of-the-year putting him in the shopping cart without wiping down the handles or putting the cart cover on. We were just in such a hurry that I didn't even think about the nastiness of it. Got to build that little imune system somtime right? Well so I've been feeding my baby too many "orange" foods I've been told. Apparently the orange nose gets me my second mother-of-the-year award this week. I don't know how this happens because I've intentionally fed him greens every other meal. Oh well.

GO ELI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mommy and I were cheering for Eli last night. Daddy said he had never seen Mommy get so excited over a game. She told him she never had had the opportunity with her team. We are so happy to see Eli (Ole Miss) win!!! Sorry for you USM Favre fans!!!!!:)

Go Predators!

Mr. Bryan and Mrs. Katherine invited us to a hockey game Saturday.
I loved all of the bright lights on the jumbo screen. It was fun until the Predators scored and they blasted the loudest horn on earth. It scared me but then they started playing Tim McGraw music and I cheered up.

We loaded up the truck and we moved to Beverly.

Well not quite Beverly Hills, but Green Hills. We hate to tell the neighbors but the Clampetts have moved to town. :)
What a Motley Crew we are today. Daddy rented a Uhaul and we moved ourselves. Not sure if we will do that again but thanks to PawPaw, Mr. Bryan and Mr. Zane, we got it all moved in a weekend.
While they moved I got to stay with GiGi and Uncle Kevin.
Uncle Kevin babysat while GiGi cleaned the house.
We had so much fun watching all of the action. Thankfully we had a TV to watch because there was nothing else left to play with.
Sweet GiGi cleaned every room that she could.
Uncle Patrick and Aunt Janet even came over to help. They helped finish up with the move and help us get a little more organized at our new house. Thank you for my Valentine's cup Aunt Janet. I can't wait to use it.

Poor PawPaw was exhausted by the end of this weekend.
Mr. Andrew came over to see me on his 21st birthday. It was the first time he had ever held a baby he said. You're pretty good at it Mr. Andrew.
Daddy taking a break with his Doritos.

Flying to Mississppi

Mommy and I flew all by ourselves to Mississippi for my cousin Shelly's wedding. We had a great trip. I fell asleep every time the plane engines cranked up. It was a fun weekend and Shelly's wedding was beautiful. Sorry we didn't get a single picture with the bride, but she was beautiful.
After the wedding, and after my nap, I got to sit in my very own rocking chair that Mrs. Rebecca and Mr. Carlton made for me. It's my special chair.

Bud is always so interested in me. He always just sits and stares at me. It's like he doesn't understand why I'm a so small.
This is my latest look. I've kind of started to get a little bashful and flirty. I try to hide my face but I really want to keep looking at you.
Aunt Emmy and I had so much fun playing with this paper bag. She had me giggling and smiling even though I was so tired.
Now this is a typical Saturday lunch at PawPaw's house. Ketchup (Heinz of course) and a mess is always involved.
We couldn't fly my bathtub home with us, so I got to get a new tub for GiGi's house. It looks just like my little rubber duckies and I love it.
Mrs. Cynde and Mr. Joe came to see me. I was quite the squirmer for her. We were teetering on my bedtime.
Mr. Joe got one hug and I was off to bed.
