OUR CHILD ATE CHICKEN!!!!!Today has been revolutionary as Graham was convinced to put the chicken in his mouth. I've been easing up to the moment by giving him sweet potato fries when I'm eating them. But today, I dared to put the chicken finger in front of him. I've learned that he likes 'stick' kind of food. I hate to say that he may be like his mother--a picky eater. But I'm not the only one in our family-his Paw Paw, his Aunt Nancy, his cousin Jeff and yes his great-granddaddy Graham are all picky eaters. At this point I'm just glad he will eat some type of protein.
Graham is getting a little better about the sippy cup but we are still feeding him his "bottle" with a spoon and cereal. The child refuses milk any other way.
Here's the proof. A few left over pieces he gnawed off.
So here are out latest greatest finds. Sweet potato fries, chicken fingers and Yo Plait yogurt drinks. Graham will actually "drink" from these little cartons. I've had to get creative with teaching him to drink milk and water. At least I know he's getting the calcium he needs. What a wonderful day, Graham is drinking calcium and eating protein. WOOHOO!!
