We hit the beach one day while we down in Fort Walton Beach.
Goofy Golf has become a family tradition for us when we go home to
PopPop's house. there is a timeless 40 something year old gold course that is our favorite. It still has all of the original campy holes and the kids love it. For $1.50 each, it is the best deal around.

Now this may be a bit unusual for some of you, as it was a first for me.Every year on Memorial Day, the
O'Neals head to the family
cemetery and have a picnic complete with umbrellas and fried chicken. Don't all families do this?
Feeling a little disrespectful sitting on the site of Graham's
McWhorter's namesake but we were encouraged that this was a great spot and to have a seat.
My kids couldn't quite figure out why where we were or why we were there. I don't blame them, I
couldn't explain as I'm not much of one for
cemeteries. :)
