Welcome Baby Charlie!

We welcomed sweet Charlie to the world on October 23rd at 12:14 in the morning.
He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz and was 20 inches long.  He arrived 9 days early and took us all by surprise.  I was out running my Saturday errands when he decided he was ready to meet us.
This little boy is such a good baby.  Michael and I are getting too much rest to have a newborn in the house.  He sleeps so well and is able to go right back to sleep during night feedings.  We are so thankful that he is healthy and thriving!

This Big Brother sure was excited to meet his brother.  I don't think I've ever seen this particular face or excitement from Graham.  So sweet!

Here we have our very first hug from Big Brother.
Mary Virginia didn't touch him.  So funny how she is checking him out.

Charlie knew just what to bring his new Big Sis and Big Bro.  Sis got an American Girl Bitty Baby and all of the fun little things that come with it.  I may be more excited about this than her.  I used to love my cabbage patch kids.
Graham got a new Mack Truck car carrier.  His face says it all.  He asked me how Charlie knew what to bring. Hmmmm that is a good question.  Thankfully Mommy thought fast and said "well he's heard us playing trucks all this time he's been in my tummy.  He must have heard you say you needed a new Mack Truck."
PawPaw was the first family member to meet Charlie.  He drove all the way to Nashville on Sunday and helped us with the kiddos at home.  Praise the Lord for moving us next door to wonderful neighbors who were able to stay with G and MV on Saturday night.

Too funny.  Little man reading his magazine and Miss Priss playing in the covers.  The nurses were not humored when the help button was pushed twice.  Oops, we had to end the bed party there.
One last family shot before we leave the hospital. Graham wanted to wear his Christmas pj's.  Anything goes when Mommy's not home. :)
So thankful Graham is this excited to have a baby brother.
Charlie's last rest in his bucket.

 Heading home.
First bath at home.
PawPaw had to go home on Tuesday but GiGi flew in on Wednesday.  We were running low on patience while waiting for her.  G was about to come out of his skin to see GiGi.
Yeah, she made it off the tarmac and finally we are ready to play.
