The kids got to fly home with GiGi for the first time. She was a trooper and made it from Nashville to New Orleans on a direct flight without any problems. Thankfully Dad was there to meet her at the gate because things went south after that. I was patiently waiting on her phone call to arrive just to allow for the stress to go down once all were buckled in the car. After an hour past their arrival time, the phone finally rang and Gigi informed me that they couldn't find her car. She couldn't remember where she parked. Uh-Oh, but they were all fine and eventually the car horn starting buzzing. Whew!
It's always a joy to go to Grandmother Graham's house and visit a little while.
There is so much work to be done around the farm. No time to relax for this busy boy.
Graham and Bud have a special relationship. He didn't know Dad caught this picture of him just talking to Bud and Bud just listening so sweetly.
Finally, time to relax a little on the sofa with KK who just had surgery on his two broken legs. Ouch KK!
PawPaw has taught Graham how to drive, park and reverse a golf cart. Yes that is a 4 year old in the next picture driving himself with only a weak little seat belt between him and the ground. I think a helmet will be needed in the future because this bandit loves to race in the field.
In fact, PawPaw was driving old blue and actually racing the child :) Mercy. Can you see why his little power wheels Jeep has not gotten much attention?
Everyday at the farm the kids get to go to the ponds and feed the fish. It is a muddy job but they love it. We usually get to see 3 or 4 baby turtles and that is a real highlight for Mary Virginia. She also loves throwing sticks in the water.
